Privacy policy
Last updated July 2026. The short version: your watch history lives on your device, we run no ads, we sell no data and we cannot see what you watch.
What stays on your device
Your library, watched episodes, ratings, notes, lists, badges, imported TV Time history, profile photo and settings are stored in your browser or app storage on your device. You can export all of it as a file at any time and you can erase it at any time from Settings.
What we store on our servers
- If you use community features such as comments and likes, those posts and an anonymous identity are stored so others can see them.
- Anonymous usage events such as app opens and import completions, used to understand growth. Never what you watch.
- If you tick the box during import, the email address from your TV Time export, so we can connect your history to an account later.
- If you type an email into the welcome note box, that address, used only for the welcome note and launch updates.
What we never do
- No advertising and no trackers from ad networks.
- No selling or sharing your data with anyone.
- No reading your watch history. It does not reach our servers.
Third parties
Show titles, artwork and air dates come from The Movie Database. Requests for that data pass through our server and do not include your identity. Community features and accounts run on Supabase infrastructure.
Your choices
Export or erase your data any time from Settings inside the app. To remove community posts or stored emails, write to support@continuity.tv and we will delete them.
